KRISTINA KOVALYOVA

The project ‘’Hristya v Namysti” is a direct reference to Kristina’s childhood: its music is woven from memories, folk songs, lullabies, and fairytales her grandparents told her. Inspired by folklore and the mythology of Ukrainian culture, Kristina lays the bridge between Ukrainian folk music and jazz in her compositions, creating a rare unique musical combination. She draws mesmerizing weaves and ornaments using her voice as an instrument. On the stage Kristina creates an incredible atmosphere (both musically and visually) with her powerful charisma and immediacy, immersing the listener in her magical world.
